Primary Responsibilities
  • EXECUTIVE - APPLICATION SYSTEM DEPARTMENT, INFORMATION & COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION (ICTD)
  • To perform designated role (s) in system/application development project such as analyst, developer, tester or documenter for in-house system development projects.
  • To undertake the role as project secretary for system development projects that are outsource to external vendors.
  • To perform day-to-day application/system element operations, support and fixes ensuring tasks completion within agreed time
  • To plan and implement preventive and corrective system maintenance tasks of designated domain application/elements area, ensuring its availability and performance are within the agreed service level.
  • To perform ICT related support for major University events such as (but not limited to) student registration and convocation.

  Skill Requirements
  • A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering/Computing/Computer Science/IT or any related field
  • Minimum one (1) year experience as analyst or developer in systems/application development project.
  • Past experience either in one of the following area :
  • -Web application Server side (JSP/PHP/ASP, CSS & JavaScript) OR
  • -Web application hybrid mobile application development OR
  • -Oracle application development OR
  • -Strong SQL proficiency
  • Excellent personal traits, pleasant personality, good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-learner with good knowledge acquisitions skills
  • Good troubleshooting skills
