Primary Responsibilities
  • To conduct plan preventive maintenance (calibration & testing) according the schedule
  • To repair (minor) and/ or replace malfunctioning units as necessary
  • To prepare lab/equipment/components/tools before the lab session begins
  • To perform preventive and corrective action maintenance within the laboratories assigned and smooth operation at Lab
  • Monitor, control & coordinates the cleanliness, safety and security of the equipment/components/computer/software and laboratories
  • To assist lecturer and students to overcome technical problem (equipment) in carrying out experimental work
  • To execute laboratory testing as requested, make observations and recommendation if necessary
  • Record all data and results in related forms
  • To conduct and compile customer satisfaction survey
  • Participate in any institutional activities

  Skill Requirements
  • A minimum of Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum three (3) years working experience in similar or related field
  • Can work with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work under pressure and extra hours
  • Problem solving skills and good communication skills
  • Good electronic repairing and troubleshooting skills
  • Age below 35 years’ old
  • Good in Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Has been in the current position for more than 3 years, i.e. appraisals for 3 consecutive years in the current position.
